Because it's true?

If making a true "cold air intake" has done so much, why are all the high horsepower guys filter less or barely any intake tubing?

Now, if you actually ran the manifolds/downpipe UNDER the transmission like it should have been done from the factory like all the import jobs, then I could see the reason behind it.

Even with an awesome intake in the fender/bumper, with a wrapped crossover and a TB heat shield and whatever else you want to add, its the post blower temps that matter...and your super amazeballs cold air intake is making no more power than my $30 filter slapped on the throttle body because the heat blasting off that crossover pipe. It was the flaw of these cars everyone has to deal with. You learn to live with it, unless you spend silly amounts of money running everything under the car and snaking it through the subframe? Yeah.

Want proof?

Please someone go measure IAT's post blower with 27 different intake setups.

I bet it makes mounds of difference.
