    i polished my stock exhaust tips with a file. do i need to be concerned about the ends rusting?

    depends on if they are chrome or stainless. stainless wont rust, but if you filed through the chrome they will rust.

    if your worried they will just throw a light coat of high heat clear coat on them

    97-03 stock tips are cast aluminum, clean em up with brake cleaner and rag when they get dirty.
