    Got a 99 Silver coupe. Think the real color is Silvermist Metallic. I love the color but she's starting to rust a little bit. Is there anyway to prevent it or maybe getting the rust out? Of course I'm talking budget ways also....I'm a college student. Gotta save money some how.

    sandblast where the rust is ...fix any holes with new steel lay down new sealer, primer, and paint

    well if he's going to just sand it down to the steel and spot puddy it and paint it...than just drive it till it rusts out and buy a new one...which would take a bigger budget

    maybe some wet sanding could take some of the rust off the area?

    Wet sanding will not get rid of rust. It is ment just to take scatches out of the clear coat not remove paint/rust.

    rust repair isnt cheap And its best to do it right or not at all
