Im looking to do something with the headlights. I either want to do projector halos or new silverstar bulbs. Iv heard that some of the projectors bounce? Can someone tell me ones that arent going to break a few months after i get them.

I think this is false. On white cars it adds contrast.

Welcome. First off silverstars are overrated. They are not the best bulb as they tend to go out after a few months. If you are looking to stay with halogen lights then look into the philips xtreme bulbs or a set of GE nighthawks. I use the xtremes and a relay harness with my black headlights. The light output is still very good. I have noticed that the chrome refelctor in the aftermarket black headlights is smaller than a set of OEM painted factory headlights. I have also had the spyder projectors. They do bounce. But there are plenty of write ups to resolve or limit the bouncing. I also recommend using HIDs in them. Definitely the best output by doing that. Another option is to put HIDs in the factory headlights. In my opinon I do not like the black covers. Just get black headlights if you want them black.

I put 6000k hid kits in the factory housings. Light output is way better than any halogen bulb you can install. Especially since low beams stay on even when switching to high beams. Some vehicals the low turn off and you have a lag between turning off low and when high get to temp.
