Yeah I can see the link. That's a FWI mod, I was trying to keep the air coming from the very front of the vehicle still. Both have cold air, but I prefer the front because FWI's tend to get a bit more dust. Removing the tube was just because I've seen many other air boxes that don't have that. I didn't see a point, air shouldn't really need to be directed until it goes into the intake tubing(The one that has the IAT sensor). I'm trying to keep it a stock look, or in the off chance I do go with a cone filter I want it to look pretty presentable.
