my question is for vailskiier. I have an 08 with the MAF like yours. How did you go about getting a leeve to fit on the air box side of the MAF. Mine bolts into the air box.. is that how yours is too?
I have an 07 and the MAF bolts on the airbox too, it looks like he used the coupler from the original airbox.
Heres mine on an 07, needs a bit of cleaning up, but works great.

yes but why would you need a 4 inch pipe when the throttle body its going into is only 3 inches. and the MAF is only 3 inches. Doesnt make any sense
Thats what I was thinking, if there is a 3 inch bottleneck at the MAF and the throttle body, I did not see that it would make much difference.
also my MAF is directly on my TB......so for me, the four inches allows for as much possible flow through the bends, angles and the air capacity that the IAT gauge sits........so you are getting a full three inches worth(or whatever max capacity is) into the TB......otherwise these things would not allow a true three inch pipes worth of flow into the TB.
Because some people actually have a set-up that allows 4" all the way through into the blower casing.
I don't know if it's just me.. but I can't find a 4" Flexable Elbow anywhere, I tried Home Depot and Lowes.
I'm just going to hold off on FWI until I have enough $ for a wiz intake.
i did it and it works awesome.
I can't seem to fit a 4" fwi in my 97. Do 99+ not have this metal piece between the intake tube and the coolant bottle? (the thing the bottle is fastened to) (pic from tjvdubsport's post). I bought a newer coolant bottle that I may swap in, but that doesn't seem like it will help make any room fwi. Ideas?

Just ordered all of my stuff for my fwi! Im going to use Aluminum intercooler tubing, the silicone connectors, and a grommet to put the IAT sensor. This is going to be amazing!
