If the orifice tube was blocked the high side pressure would be higher than a giraffes ass. It sounds more to me like its a variable displacement pump stuck on the low. I'm not sure if the compressor used on your GP is variable displacement. But does it even get slightly cool at night or when you are on the freeway? Is it blowing from the correct vents? Does the temp seem to be quite warm?
