I already replaced my MAP a few months back to get rid of this code and now it's back. So a two part question...

    1) Could this be the cause of my overly negative LTFT problem?

    2) If it ain't the MAP itself that's causing fault, what else could be causing the fault?

    Thanks peeps

Well, what is the number is throwing??

It's not abnormal to see it pulling negative 5-7 while at idle.

Clean the MAF sensor while your at it, a dirty maf can cause weird numbers.

http://www.obd-codes.com/p0107 that code is low circuit. check the wires to the map for damage. if you see cracks or missing insulation, or bare wire, change that pig tail.

Ordered the wiring last night, thanks.

MAF is brand new. LTFT drops to -7 on boost but stays below -5 otherwise and will drop to 0 at a red light.

BrandonHall10 from the board read as bad as -10 at WOT a few weeks back though. But I haven't run it as hard during the time since I got a scanner myself.

But anyways, back to my original thought; MAP problems can affect LTFT or do I have another problem?

    Thanks people. 😎

Did you reset the trims after each fix you tried either with scanner or unplugging battery?

LOL. So I replaced the pig tail today because the B wire on the old pig tail had snapped... and the P0107 code is gone.

But now I have P0108 and my LTFT is even worse; as low as negative 12.5% W... T... F...

And because the wiring had been cut and rejoined before I ever got to it, I am running out of room to redo this.

Also, the ACDelco pig tail I ordered per RockAuto is a thicker gauge of wire than what the prior pig tail had or what I'm trying to connect to. The crimpable connectors that came with the new pigtail aren't even big enough for the wire...

    Anyways, can anybody confirm the following please;

    A: Gray
    B: Green
    C: Red

solder the new pig tail on. toss that crimp bs things in the trash.

if the colors are the same as old pig tail just match the colors up, solder, and plug it in.

They're not. Pig tail is all gray wires.

ok, so look at the top of the plug and match the wires up to the factory plugs wires. both plugs should say a b c for each wire.
