It's not that it's a big deal. Just make surf if your going to use LS7 lifters you take the time to measure lifter preload so you are sure to get the correct length pushrods.

I was only going to do lifters and rods because I'm there. I figured I might as well. What about the springs though? Would the 140#s be alright or should I go with something different?
There's no reason for you to go with 140s with the XP cam 90s or 105s are perfectly fine.
Stock pushrods and lifters are fine.
^ What that guy said.
I've got a very similar cam to the XP, albeit mine has more lift and very similar durations, and I went with Crow Cams 105's, new retainers and new seals. Reused my pushrods and lifters, and haven't had any issues.
(this is also done on a new stock timing chain and damper)
alright, sweet. now, a few of you said not to do downpipe and Power log.why should I just go straight for headers?
Because headers are only $200
Because you can get better flow out of headers which will end up costing you less.
What headers are that cheap??
Are they cheap quality though?
Dude search speed daddy on here... You will find em that everyone uses them.
yes they are cheap thats why they are 200 lol plus you have to modify them a little bit to fit properly
em what..what? lol
Are you just saying they're cheap because of the price or have you ever ran or looked at a set?
I just don't want to buy cheap headers and be dealing with leaks and crap
