Wow interesting stuff. makes complete sense with the dumping of freezing coolant pouring over the hot heads. thanks for that reverant!
Performance gains would be an added bonus. any links on charger porting? never tried that yet either. I've ported items on my 87 Grand national but the w-bodys have been daily grocery runners.
I am sure there are better write ups out there but that one should get you started. Oh and make sure to tape over the needle bearings inside the case so you dont get shavings inside.
Some take out the h bar and open up the lower intake accordingly however i don't believe this does much unless its for an intercooler. Not to mention pressure is built up in the lower intake manifold which opening all that up would hurt that pressure from happening... if that makes sense, or at least in my head thats how it goes.
