    How u not paying full price? And what makes u think the PS pump is going bad? Mine has always had a wine in it

    The guy that helped me with the tensioner is a licensed mechanic an he can get me discounted prices on parts The pulley pulls in an out a little bit, you turn the wheel all the way to the right, you can hear it loud an clear.

    Yeah the tensioner didnt seem that bad. But yep, everything is taken care, thank you for taking part of all this.

    a rule i live by, if a serp belt goes bad i replace the tensioner too. when one goes bad, the other is about the same

    Hey thank you , yeah with the PSP being replaced, most likely gonna get a whole new belt because the 1 i have now has been taking a beating the past couple days, stretch an its just a little wore out so might as well.

    the belt you have now is low miles right.......
    if the ribs are not cracked leave it,
    its good

    if the belt has no cracks and still has V groves in it. wash it in hot soapy water with a scrub brush. rinse it, then let it dry, put it back on. clean belts hold pulleys better.

    you can also wash the pulleys on the engine if they are dirty looking. the belt will produce dirty water.
