I got a 2000 Grand Prix gt an I can see where it says perf shift how do I get that to work?

You can't.
my car drives like **** without performance shift on, but thats bc my tranny has 205k miles on it. it needs the increased line pressure to keep **** together

Thats from 60-400 ft lbs for 1st gear. Its really not that big of difference lol.
Shift time is N .350 -.375 and P .225 -.275.
But to answer the OP question on the honda thing, just race him/her and find out.
The 2000 accord v6 was rated at 200hp, so this one most likely comes down to driver mod.
