A few days ago I put a big box in my trunk. In my trunk my trunk light kinda just hangs there so I pay it no mind. Fast forward to today. While driving my dic displays my trunk being open. I ponder for a moment then pull over and my trunk is closed. Weird. I get back in my car drive off and the dic is still showing its open. Ok eventually it goes away....

Fast forward to right now, no interior lights. No trunk light. And now the trunk signal is constant. Any ideas? I do know that the trunk light is connected to the interior lights so thats a start. Any ideas about the trunk issue? Thanks in advance.

Ok update, found out the INT LAMP fuse blew. Replaced it and it worked! Then, it blew again . Ideas? I'm going to replace it with a 15 a see what happens. It's usually a 10 amp fuse

NOT a good idea to replace a fuse with one of a higher amperage. They have a maximum for a reason.

And it is probably a short.

Ok so where can I find the short? Any particular wires I should be looking at?

I'd recommend checking around the light. The box may have pushed on your light and pulled some wires out of place since it just hangs there. Other than that, you just have to search for it. That's the fun part with electrical.
