Proves a good point BUT thats also a totally different vehicle. Like someone in that thread said (all cai are different) also that's a v8 rwd we have v6 side way engines. A lot of variables to consider

Ok, so does the CAI make a big differ in power compared to the WAI, or just a tiny differ?

Thus no conclusion beside theory.

Theory says it can make a big difference.

Practice suggests once moving, IAT's will be negligible.

I know that Cooler Air is better than Hot air, obviously, But im sure it does not make a difference in my N/A. If i had a GTP then i would try to block as much heat from the WAI as possible.

under 40 mph your IAT's will skyrocket.

above that, they'll be within 10-15* of ambient.

It will cost you power, but you won't use as much fuel granted you don't push the pedal harder to compensate.

PCM will correct the timing based on it so its taken care of in a sense.

Also performance wise, did i gain or loose power from switch from the stock air box to the WAI?

So i dont really have to worry about the IAT if im leaving to stock other than the WAI?

Most likely a loss in power.

I think you are the only person that has told me that, i dont really think i lossed power though
