I cut the mufflers off of my 3.1 v6 2 door gp se and it sounds good but its not loud enough for me if I put a glasspack inplace of the resinator or did a resinator delete would it loose to much back pressure and hurt the motor or will I be ok

no need to back pressure, cars make only like 1 psi.
Res delete will make it super raspy and sound terrible. But buy some mufflers, like flows or magnaflows, 3.1 always sound better than 3.8's
backpressure is a myth of sorts. resonator gets rid of the rasp. now i dont know anything about 3.1l and how diff muffs sound, but youtube should help you.
On my 96 gp I just used a glasspack and no muffler ,it actually sounded great. Imho
I had a grand am with the 3.1 back in my high school days and wanted to be super cool with loud exhaust. So I had 2 glass packs put inplace of muffs.
Worst decision I ever made on that car. So annoying, sounded like a pissed off weed eater.
Then I sold it. Still see it in town and it sounds even worse.
Go with bio's opinion.
get a short glasspack if you want to run mufflers.
get a longer glasspack if youre doing a muffler delete.
this is what im modeling my exhaust after 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix Dyno - exhaust mods - YouTube
He has a 3100...car in signature is his...
I had the stock exhaust on my 93 beretta and it sounded really good because there wasn't much left inside of it after 230,000 miles on it lol
