I cut the mufflers off of my 3.1 v6 2 door gp se and it sounds good but its not loud enough for me if I put a glasspack inplace of the resinator or did a resinator delete would it loose to much back pressure and hurt the motor or will I be ok

no need to back pressure, cars make only like 1 psi.

Res delete will make it super raspy and sound terrible. But buy some mufflers, like flows or magnaflows, 3.1 always sound better than 3.8's

backpressure is a myth of sorts. resonator gets rid of the rasp. now i dont know anything about 3.1l and how diff muffs sound, but youtube should help you.

I had a grand am with the 3.1 back in my high school days and wanted to be super cool with loud exhaust. So I had 2 glass packs put inplace of muffs.
Worst decision I ever made on that car. So annoying, sounded like a pissed off weed eater.
Then I sold it. Still see it in town and it sounds even worse.

    Go with bio's opinion.

Unfortunately, you will loose soo much backpressure the car will probably stall out at idle..................................

Not really, but please put your mufflers back on

Yup, I got rid of my resonator 2 months ago. Wish I hadn't, as soon as I can, I will take it to get a glasspack welded in.

get a short glasspack if you want to run mufflers.
get a longer glasspack if youre doing a muffler delete.

You are aware that unless you have a 3100 motor, your car will sound nothing like that.
