Basically start looking for a GTP, much less of a headache for someone like me or you who wouldn't know where to start, and might even be cheaper. Even if you engine swap, then you'll need an HD tranny, so just forget it. Unless you had sex with Angelina Jolie or signed a peace treaty in that GT, its not worth all the time and money to supercharge properly.

So much wrong information In what was said here its not even funny. You dont need to engine swap, you dont need an HD tranny. A gt will make more power on a m90 then a GTP, and the GT has better gears. Honestly if you have no clue on what your saying why take the time to post?

The minimum that you would need to change on a GT to make a GTP would be the Heads and intake manifold, S/C , dampener, idler pulley and PCM programing.

The N/A eng feeds fuel into the intake manifold and the S/C eng feeds fuel into the heads.

The only difference in the transmission is the differential and gear ratio to make it a HD. There is also some discussion on weather the HD is stronger or not. GM's HD diff has less gear depth that the nonHD.
