Something to take note of is before I did my pan drop I had the sloppy second gear shift. I can still make it do it if I time it right but it doesn't do it on it's own anymore. I also have the delayed reverse engagement common to the sloppy second gear shift. I've read these are a result of some sleeve or something getting worn and bleeding off pressure. I wonder if this is my problem.

I also broke out a stopwatch and did 45-65 times. Mine tend to be 3.7-3.8 seconds while Brandon's is 3.2-3.3 seconds....roughly half a second quicker

I think it's cause you don't have a rear inlay.....

Wear on tranny, less power being transmitted.

So Matt are you agreeing on the trans being worn and bleeding off pressure? It's about all I can come up with

Like Matt suggested earlier do a compression test on both cars your answer very well could lie right there. If they're very close to being the same I agree your trans has been beaten on more....

A compression test on the trans? Or a cylinder compression test?

Yes on the engine.... it will tell you if its engine or tranny more than likely.

I'm betting trans with the miles and trans symptoms. And plus first gear I can't tell a diff It's once it gets to second that it starts slowin down.
