ok so ive had a slow coolant leak for a while now but it was so little that i never bothered to get it done. i had some extra time today so i decided to check it out. i took off my throttlebody to find the strangest thing ive ever seen. obviously by gasket is bad thats not my concern but is this stuff? can coolant crystalise??
( the hole on the left side was there when i bought the car someone had drilled a hole for a DIY nitros job or something stupid like that so i sealed it up a long time ago)

Dexcool can crystallize if exposed to air, I'm guessing that gasket has been bad for a LONGGG time.

If it's not hydrolocked, then your cylinders are nice and squeeky clean!

Just clean it up, I would run some flush thru and then replace the Coolant after you get it back together.

My 2nd engine was like that when I got it... tore the top off to replace the LIM and other gaskets prior to install and this is what it looked like. Cleaned it out, flushed the coolant and replaced... still running solid

I 2nd flushing the system. As long as your gaskets held, everything else will be good.
