These are the ignition lines. The red will be 12v constant, if you cut that tape off of there, there will be a pink line that is switched 12v

This is the general direction of the o2 harness, should be next to the trans fluid dipstick

You can see the trans dipstick tube to the right of the harness.

Cant really tell where that vac line is. The boost line needs to be connected after the T under the supercharger snout by the alternator. A T should be supplied with the gauge, just cut the line by the alternator, insert the new T and connect the lines back together along with the boost line.

For boost I took a pic of a small black line that starts under the snout (as seen in the picture) and runs under the alternator and to the other side of the engine. I hat figures I cut that line and insert the boost hose cause that's the only small line I see that's under the snout and by the alternator.

Do t-tap come in different sizes? I know I'll need a couple 18 gauge t-tap but what size for the constant 12v large red wire?

I just think its faster to solder to the ignition harness, and you dont have the run the lines as far. But if you dont plan on soldering, then you will want to go that route.

Thats what I was saying here. I would not T tap the ignition lines. If you dont want to solder to them, go to your fuse box in the glove compartment and use an "add a circuit"

So I should add a fuse for my constant 12v and t-tap into the switched 12v? What fuse would you suggest to add in for constant?

Im really not sure without testing the fuses. (I never go to the fuse box so I dont know which ones are constant). The radio fuse should be switched, but I've run across some that arent. If you have a multimeter or test light you can go and test them to find the constant and switched. If not, I will test them tomorrow and let you know.

Wow this thread is really helpfull. Pretty much doesnt matter what wire you tap into as long as its red or white its a constant power source. Kinda happy these things arent that hard to do.... Hmmmm It would be cool if this thread (when your done helping this young fellow of course) could be shortend up a bit and made a STICKY for sure.

No, you only need 1 constant fuse and 1 switched fuse. You just pop in the "add a circuit" and tie in all your gauges constant lines to the constant fuse. And tie in all the gauges switched lines to the switched fuse.
Basically you run one line from the switched fuse and one line from the constant fuse. Run those lines to your "a" pillar. Then tie all your lines together there.

Ok here is where I found the constant and switched 12v on my fuse panel. Yours may be different since yours is a 97 (I dont know if they changed anything) On the cover/pocket that you remove to get access to the panel, is a fuse map. See if you have one labeled "radio amp", I know you have one labeled "radio"

Just wondering, My car has 131,000 miles and i don't think the supercharger oil has ever been replaced. Should I do that?

Its really up to you. Ive had a couple dealerships tell me that it doesnt really ever need to be changed, and that it should be good up to 250k miles. But if you want to change it, it's definitely not gonna hurt anything. Unless you dont fill it up enough.

It should be about 1.5 bottles. Just fill it up to the bottom of the threads on the hex plug. To remove the old oil, just get the top off a spray bottle and a cup and shoot the oil into the cup. Just be prepare for some serious stank.
