I have been looking for a project and just decided to use my 2004 grand prix gt, i have been thinking an LS swap or a built 3800 with a rear mount turbo setup like the sts kit with water meth, i am curious to hear some ideas some opinions, other similar setups any info would be a great deal of help
    thanks,

There have been very few STS turbo setups on GP's. Mainly due to the long oil lines you have to run to the back of the car. It has been done, but most prefer the turbo mounted in the engine bay.

There are a few turbo kits out there. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the STS kit as the ZZP kit has been proven very well. I own a cartuning kit and have been pleased with it. Its not the greatest design out there but gets the job done.

    LS swap? Really?

Some people read too much Car Craft.

Look at a gxp and learn why lsx don't belong in a wbody.

Different platform than a wbody. A LS swap will take some work and has been done before with less than stellar results. If you aregoing to do a LS swap then you might as well make the car RWD which is a chore in itself.

For LS swap info pm tokyojoe. I believe it was his pops that did one.

LS4 can be turbo'd, LS4 can have head swaps, LS4 can have headers, LS4 can have cam swaps, LS4 can have nitrous, I dont get why people bash on the of just do a 3800. If you wanna find some people that have actually modded LS4s check LS1tech.com then go to the LS4 section!

its easy there is no replacement for displacement, its not bashing the 3800 at all, just seeing if going after more cubes was worth it, and its not everyday you see a grand prix with an LS2, isnt that what a forum is for asking questions and swapping ideas, seems to be a different story here

Having the same as a million other people isnt either just like the hundreds of Wbodies that have mustang wheels on them. IMO a Buick Lacross super with a turbo and TEP trans would be kick ass!!

I sincerely hope your entire post count wasn't generated by trolling here for performance info.
