If any of you read my kill story, you know i hit 18psi the other day. on a 3.5". I still say 0kr, so im not concerned of blowin the motor really, just kinda wondering why im boosting so high. My gauge isnt whacked, it reads identicle to my scanner readings. There are no squirrels in my LIM Nick!!

    My Mods:
    Top swap
    Ssac headers
    Quickswap 3.5" pulley
    PRJ tune

this is a mind boggling situation, kid. im not sure why the crap it would do that and how the car can even control it when the MAP sensor maxes out at 14.7 psi.

did you leave anything in the engine when you had it apart? did you possibly put the LIM gaskets on backwards (even though youd have a massive amount of coolant everywhere and/or youd be overheating)? did the pistons have a stupid amount of build up?

    i...i dont know man..

haha. thats insane. is it a manual boost gauge or digital? if digital maybe there is some sensor out of wack. but that much boost on our supercharges should be makin some killer heat lol. well good for you for not knockin either way haha

    mechanical gauge.

no bio, nothing left in the engine. also the lim gasket cant be put on backwards, there are locating pins lol. dont get me wrong, i love it. car pulls HARD. no carbon buildup on pistons, i had the motor lookin new before i put the top on.

i know you cant put the LIM gaskets in backwards, hah.

i dont know, it just seems like a retarded amount of boost to be making on a decent flowing setup like that. is your BBV sticking funny...that doesnt make sense either...what the hell is wrong with your car!?

Regulator went haywire on the compressor at my old high school. I walked by it and took a look at the gauge ****er was at 200psi. Cut the power to that sucker as fast as I could.

That's pretty dangerous levels unless its a high pressure setup. My old dealership I worked at was equipped to around around 150 to 175. Pretty nice when you needed major torque with the impacts.
