    Howdy All:
Posted earlier this week questions abo0ut Cat/DP. Matt5112 answered those for me. I have read exhaust posts till my eyes are bleeding. Now I am more confused than normal. Headers would be ideal, not going to happen, it's the Wife' car.

    Given that,

Would I be better off just replacing Cat and Ubend

Using standard or high flow Cat

Going with the ZZ Performance 2.5 inch DP with Cat

Does the antifouler really work for the P0420 code with the high flow Cat

I don't want to lose the low end torque. Any performance boost or increase in MPG would be a plus. The car is used mostly for highway/long distance driving.

    Thanks in advance.
    Robert

buying the downpipe will save you time and money that you'd need to spend on install at a shop (unless you weld). you want a 3" downpipe, you won't lose any bottom end.

the anit-fouler trick works in most cases, but you may not even need it if you still have a cat. i never had a problem setting that code and i ran a high flow cat.

    Bio248:
Thanks for the reply. Car is N/A ZZ Performance recommends 2.5". If going with 3" won't kill the bottom end I"ll go that way.

If Wifey loses her kick in the seat, then she will be unhappy and she would make me real unhappy for at least a couple of days
    Later.

the 3" pipe isn't going to lose any bottom end that is noticeable and will open up the power band up top. the 2.5" is a waste of money, in my opinion.
