    its the most restrictive part of the exhaust, you want it to be gone.

    Bio i know your knowledgable is this something any shop will do? or would it not be worth it? I know its a big gain in flow however, what type of cost is associated?

    any exhaust shop should be able to do it. basically they are cutting out a chunk of piping and replacing it with a straight section and another o2 bung.

    Are we talking expensive and what type of shops would you trust to do this work? I know muffler man I dont trust with much anymore.. Unless its my muffler

    its a simple job, if they would quote any more than like $75 i would laugh at them. even that is a little much.

    Sounds good maybe I will take mine in some time soon here and see what they quote me at. Im not expecting to do a lot but i figure from what i see that will help get a huge amount of flow moving. DO you think they would know exactly what i meant if i walked in and just said I wante to delete my Ubend

    Even if they dont have them put the car up on the lift and its pretty obvious what needs to be removed, its a crimped pipe right by your rear o2

    Alright hopefully i can figure it ot and they can do it cheaply. On a budget these days so im starting by opening up the flow then when i get money maybe i can pt some bigger fun into the car

    Just thught about this AGAIN! is there a difference in MY on if the car has this? Or did all MY's have this issue. I have a 05 and i know alot of information is sometimes different for the newer Gen

    Actually the se's with the 3.1l engine do not have the ubend.

    I have owned this car for only 10 days now, so it is all new to me, but as I look there is a u bend right behind the cat, with the O2 sensor pointing up. I should be posting this in the correct section...
