Well since everyone is being assholes. I actually DO hope you get what you want. lol

I would have talked to them on the phone before I sent them another E-mail. At this point I would tell them you just want your money back. This is why:

-What if the second set you get is just as bad or worse than the first?
-You can get just about any other headers for way less than what you paid.
-Lots of people sell used TOGs.

They are only liable to refund your money for return of the product. Nobody would customize you a set of headers for off-the-shelf price, or without additional cost.

Don't order the plate, eat half, and then send it back.

Hope it works out for you in the end.

u keep missing the fact they are only the middle man for tog......they didnt personally do anything to cause you misfortune, for example if u get the wrong part in the mail are you gonna ***** out the mail man because the place it came from fukked up? makes no sense and you should have analyzed the problem at hand before *****ing out the wrong people. At very least that email should have gone to TOG.

If i were 3800perf i wouldnt wanna help you one bit.

Ever heard the expression "you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar"? Clearly you feel justified in going right at them being a dick about it without even checking to see if they want to make it right, but you have gone at them so hard that they will not be very interested in trying to make you happy. When it comes to customer service, you need to respectfully let them know there is a problem and give them a chance to make it right. If they don't, then take the gloves off and let them have it. They probably didn't even open the box to look at the headers before they were shipped to you. Most retailers don't. As far as your attempt to use us (the 3800 community) as a threat against them, you need to come across as being the bigger man if you want everybody to support your position.

well 3800performance was nice enough to call me last night on a three way call with the builders in california. they have done exactly what i asked of them. they were very apologetic and even seems legitamatly dumbfounded by how i recieved a part with any flaws at all let alone one with so many. they are sending me out a new set as i write this that has been test fit on an actually car by the owner of tog himself. all in all this was a pain in the ass but im actually happy with their effort and the timely fashion that they responded. as long as i get a good set by friday which is what they promised then due to there customer service i guarantee ill be purchasing from 3800performance again

then why did it work...your obviously a day laborer and not in a managerial/ customer service position in your everyday dealings. see the nice thing about knowing stuff outside of cars, like running a successful business and being a landlord as i am, is that you learn what you can and cant say and how to leverage quickly and effectively. you can all go off about me being an ass and i am so that works for me but i also get results and could care less what your personal opinions are. i used you for leverage and im here for your knowledge on cars...thats it.

Something to take with you...I'm sorry for customers that have to deal with an irate person on the other end of the counter; example: you.

Also...just because your an upfront asshat to people, doesn't mean it is the right thing to do in that situation.

So, congrats on getting your headers...I hope they don't fit.

Situations like this really make me double check myself every time I help someone with an issue. Glad I don't handle it like you do or I wouldn't have a job.

LOL Completely agree with Nick on that. I work as the assistant to the Parts Manager at the dealership. I get to be an asshat to people from time to time when they actually deserve it and try to screw the business, but IF we ran this place with your ideals and temper we would be waiting in line at the unemployment office.

Glad you got what you wanted, but know, Karma comes back full circle.
