which makes no sense...with all the cheap headers out there now it makes sense that one or two companies produce high quality parts at a much higher price, namely togs and zzp headers, but why when the competition gets cheaper and cheaper do you raise your prices and lower your quality. granted zzp hasnt lowered theres but they cheap out on customer service which is also unacceptable.
get WBS headers.
600$ with a downpipe is good price for stainless headers.

Well if 3800 performance made these I would agree with you. I have done business with 3800 perf on several occasions and believe me when I say he will be as shocked as you where to see the flaws because they are rare, we know you are upset but give em a chance to make it right.

I would get my money back and buy some used TOGs OR buy some from Wbodystore.

my email to 3800performance after they emailed me asking for my number
before you call ill give you my ideas on what i want...i want a label for ups return shipping sent to me via email which will be shipped out later tonight. i like these headers just not the obvious manufaturing errors. i want another set made from scratch with the quality u guys used a few years ago and i dont want an egr tube installed as your whole is off and since i dont have an egr i dont wanna deal with a leak point. if not weld it shut there. i want the headers test fit on a functional 3800 and i want every join tested for fitness and seal. if ANY joint is found troublesome to install or even teh slightest bit leaky make a new pair of headers and try again. if there are ANY and i mean ANY errors in craftsmanship other than possible scratches from your test fit on the 3800 at your company or togs company they make a new pair. to sum it up any and all, however slight, flaws or install issues and you can try again and dont dare send them. i want at least a partial refund for the time i wasted and the frustration i went through...if im gonna be sent cheap headers i should be refunded till my bill equals some cheap headers. lastly these need to be made and sent via overnight shipping asap. my car shouldnt have to sit idle in my driveway for weeks cause tog is getting sloppy in building headers.
perfectly acceptable to metheir problem would then be explaining to the rest of you guys here and on other forums why they sent bad headers and didnt take responsibility for their mistake regardless of how angry and demanding the customer was. i have a feeling that under your senario they will lose a good amount of business. now the obvious business thing to do would be make a bad excuse about a pair of headers getting shipped out that were marked as bad but got shipped out on accident anyways. then meet my demands and have me say here how even though i was ticked off i understand that mistakes happen and am very pleased with their customer service and how i love my new headers. in this case they may even be seen as a better buy as zzp would bust balls though emails for a while till they grudgingly gave in. if customer service and togs cost a few dollars over zzps headers i got a feeling they will sell more though this then less...but what do i know

ur also not being caught with your pants down in front of 90% of your market as they are here. if you were, i got a feeling youd have a lot more time for smoke breaks on your hands when you were at the unemployment office. but also in comparison then they ordered the best fetticinni in town you didnt send them out little ceasers pizza

its true. if that is a copy and paste of the email you sent i would take a dump in a box and ship it to you. that email was highly unprofessional and very uncalled for.
take it how you want, but you just lost whatever chance you had at getting anything back (if it were me, at least).
Jebus Copper! Take some Midol and chill out. It's an easy fix with a welder. Just ask to have the freight paid for return and get a new set. 3800 doesn't even make the damn headers. You think they are going to listen to your requests. HELL NO! They just sell them. I'm sure they don't inspect every box they get in. That's like telling Best Buy to open up every game to make sure the disk isn't cracked. YA NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
I hope they tell you to go fly a kite. I sure as hell would. I'd refund your money get back the faulty headers and tell you to piss off!
