    it's on the shift knob on the gtp's (at least on mine)

    They don't have the performance shift after 99. However it's still in the pcm and it's still in the guages(location varies). You can ground a pin out on the pcm and you will have performance shift all the time or you can wire a switch to that pin and when you flip the switch you'll have performance shift. It's definately a must have. I know it's pin 21 but i can't remember if its the blue or clear connector. Find a writeup before attemtping this.

    Check for a button on the shifter if it's not there then you most likely have do what i described above.

    Actually I believe the last year for performance shift was either 2000 or 2001. My 2000 GTP has it.

    Performance shift, with an untouched PCM only changes the line pressure and desired shift times. Meaning Performance shift mode is firmer and faster shifting. With a tuner you can also make differences in RPM shifting under WOT and Part throttle and MPH shifting, TCC lock/unlock etc.
