    Just payed for one... OUCH!!!!

Anyways what all should I know about it before I get it? Also my thoughts are to monitor KR and probably oil pressure.

Then I have room for two more gauges I was thinking Fuel pressure and boost? Any thoughts

    they are cheaply made.

i dont like them, but that's me. i am not a fan of digital gauges, nor their price.

other than that i think they are fairly useful if you watch the right parameters and that it gives you the ability to read/clear codes. i always preferred having seperate gauges for everything and then scanning with a logger when i wanted to check things out.

The main thing I really want the aero for is the KR. Othen then that I will have other gauges to watch other things.

if you want to monitor KR all the time youre doing it wrong. just sayin.

i always like running my car really conservative so i could beat on it mercilessly all day, everyday without worrying about it. most people with cars that they drive often should follow this rule, but most dont and go for a max effort tune which in turn needs to be tuned quite often for variances in weather.

    It shows me KR.

    Thats nice.

I can check other things when trying to diagnose issues.

    Thats nice.

LCD screws up when its below freezing out and stays that way until the cabin warms up.

Its hardly legible when its like that.

The buttons are cheap. Don't work all the time.

There is no auto dim.... which is a major downside if you drive out in the country because the gauge will go from barely bright enough during the day to blinding you at night.

Even a 12+ switched input for dimming would be nice.

    But alas, its not there.

I will not go anything extreme. Unfortunatly I have to hold on to the car for some time. Everything will be conservative and very slow at actually doings mods over time.

correct me if im wrong but i dont think it monitors oil pressure.

my setup, once i get an aeroforce and pod, will be electrical oil pressure, mechanical boost, and the aeroforce to monitor kr...... and something else.

then i may add a hud pod with two more gauges... havent thought about those yet though

    thats correct.

our cars lack an oil pressure sender.

    they have a switch instead.

Which is wired backwards to boot.

Sounds like you got a 3 pod and want other things to put in them.

Personally I used an aeroforce to have on hand in the car. That way if anything pops up you aren't in the dark.

Monitoring oil pressure is IMO a waste of time. No matter what you see..there's nothing you can easily do about it before you kill a motor.

Fuel pressure shouldn't be an issue once you get things up to speed and dialed in

Example of what an aeroforce is perfect for.. watching KR with climate changes etc and at the next stoplight the car is surging. Hmm a quick TPS reading says 15% and you aren't touching the throttle. Stop for a TPS on the way home and it's fixed quick.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Thats correct Bill I have the aero and I know boost is going in to the triple gauge and I need one more. Fuel and oil were both suggested to me. Do you have any other ideas?

wideband would be a great investment for anyone modding their car. the narrowband readings are WAY off from being anywhere near accurate.

Ive looked at a wideband. That was looking at a year our or so after just dumping almost 500 id like to not instantly put another 160 in the car :P. However, that will be what will go in in the long run. Just not sure If I want to leave the one spot open for that long.
