Anyone using this how did you hook it up. Because you have to use 3 wire connector right? Did you run it to a fuse and if you did what one? i tried it and it wouldnt power on. Yes I took the red jumper off, then put it back on and pluggeg in only the obdII port and it would power up then turn off and the 2 lights would flash.

    Jumper is for 04+ only.

Pretty sure there's like... only a couple spots that won't work. Heard of the radio fuse being used, I think.

yea I hooked it up like it said i looked at the one online because the one it came with was really brief and didnt have much in it, I think it might be the wire running it to the fuse because i used the radio one

If you have an android phone, or iphone, sell the aeroforce, n buy the torque app for $2 or whatever the amount is, and buy a $35 obd2 port bluetooth adapter and there is your $37 scan gauge.

I have 4 Aeroforces and dont have a problem running them.

I would guess if you bought it used you may have the wrong Version for your car

read up first. IIRC KR isn't a supported parameter. On our cars if you can't scan for KR, you may as well burn the $39 you'd be spending on the scanner and app.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

99% of the time it's wiring.

I think it is on 2001+ plus that the obd2 doesn't have the power wire on it. Therefore you have to wire it separately and read the instructions to get the jumpers right if needed. If it powers up then goes off after a few seconds/moments it is most likely getting signal from the obd2 but not any power.

I would use some 16-18 guage wiring and run the power to the power drop harness under the glovebox, possibly tucked in up to the right. It will have a label on it and should label what each wire is. I would also run the ground to harness as well.

see, i bought mine from another member and when i turn on the car all i get is 2 blinking lights, if i unplug it and plug it back in it works fine

i didnt get a manual so ive been trying to figure out whats up with the online version

i have a 99 GT so the guage should get power from the OBDII, which is the only thing its plugged into

any ideas? im still new to aeroforce

Just put mine in today. you need the 3 wire conector and the red wire goes to power. then you need to take the Jumper off the back of the Gauge then put it in the obd port

Or you can come over to my house and Ill hook it up for you.
