On my way home I had the heat on and the blower motor just stopped blowing it will not work no matter what number I put it on. What should I look for fuse, relays, the switch that controls blower speed, or the blower it self?

If it the resitor it would still work on high mine does not work at all. Where's the resior and where the blower motor
My blower did not work at all when my resistor shat out. They are under the passenger dash.
same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago and it was the blower motor. $65with a lifetime warranty. it could be either tho really. its not the hardest repair every but its definitely a pain in the ass
What do the resistors look like
Where is the resetor located and is there any way to bypass it and run power directly to the blower motor to check if the blower motor still works
By a $3 test light and see if you have power at the resistor and then the motor.
What fuse is the #5 Speed fuse
Cam anyone post me a link on how to replace the blower motor and resestor. My hvac hi fuse is fine so I thought it must be the blower or resitor then but can not get this thing out and don't even see the resistor
Here is the link for the R&R of the resistor replacement:ClubGP: Anytime you replace the BM and you have the original GM resistor it's a good idea to replace it at the same time as these have a high failure rate. The new resistor you buy at the parts store is an upgraded part and should last the life of the car....
Nice link!!
May have saved me a few choice words when I did mine the first time. Make sure you install the water deflector or it may go out again in a few years.
