May have saved me a few choice words when I did mine the first time. Make sure you install the water deflector or it may go out again in a few years.

Right after I replaced my BM resistor I ran my car through a car wash at SA in January in MN and the next morning I cranked it up and got nothing but smoke coming through the vents. Water from the car wash leaked through and took out the BM and resistor. Lesson learned....Originally Posted by Madness

I use a Northfield, MN drive through car wash in winter and would get soap/water dripping on any passengers feet until I installed the deflector.
MN winters are great aren't they?
