The car put down 252 fwhp on a mustang dyno. The place i brought it to is extremely recommended in the w-body, cobalt, and ls world
to the 3.4 suggestion, i would but, since my injectors are almost maxed out on a 3.6, i might have some trouble.
i need 42#'a and meth, then well see what happens
How much timing and at what AFR? I was not suggesting the 3.4...I was just telling you that I ran faster with alot less work. With that compression...you are basically equivalent to the 3.4 on a L36
bio...that car might need to run a bit fatter than 11.2 but definitely not in the 10s. When you said it got dyno tuned at a good place....did this good place check your plugs and gap? I want more information on your tune
i always liked to dial in my fueling, then timing, then throw on whatever pulley ran without knock. when these cars run on the fine edge of lean and blown up they are very fast.
apperently that place is bad ass with tunes.......... just ask quik-gt.
what was it, intake, down pipe, 3.4 and he went 13.0 at 103........
a guy just recently with an ss camaro with a lid and mufflers thru an auto put down 280 on a mustang dyno and went 12.8 at 108 with a 1.9 60' i think. if your car put really put down 260 (like said, you can get a dyno to read anything you want to really, maybe he pulled your leg a little) and you cut a 2.0 60" then all i can think of is you let of early, or there was a 50mph head wind.
the dyno sheet has some info on it, ill post a pic.
damojo2003, were you on 206 in hillsborough the other day, (i think sunday) i thought i saw a car that looks like the one your selling
Nah...that was not me. Must had ben some one else. A bit of advice, you need to think a bit different with the plugs. What ever the link says below for your mods, go one lower. Your added compression plays a lot with your tune. In order for the L67 to make the same power as your L36, it needs an additional 2# boost....give or take. Then take in account that you run a gen V which is more efficient and I think it makes more boost than the gen 3 m90...some one correct me if I am wrong. I would pull the plugs and gap them at .050 and take it from there. IMO...that .055 is too wide of a gap for the 103s
What springs are you running?
what wires are you using? make sure there is good contact and only use dielectric grease on the ceramic portion of the plug.
What afr?
how much timing?
Is it that place in toms river? If it is...I am extremely dissapointed in them. I gave them the original file to use as a base for them to start tuning for a local and you can't even run 13s...that is honestly pathetic. You should be makin more than 250sh whp

the print out
I'm running l76 springs, using prj wires, im really unsure of timing, he said it was set too high, so he lowered a bit

Wow maybe you need a driver mod. No offense... I'm not perfect at the tree either. Shed as much weight as possible too.
I ran a 14.1 @ 97 2 years ago with PEMS, 3.4 GenIII, 3" DP and a good tune.
When you launch do you spin like a mofo or do you hook pretty well ? What's your 60 foot like.
And you're only trapping 95 too? Wtf somethins up.
You have 3.29's as well. It seems like your shifting at factory shift points? There is something amiss. A 2.160ft is average as well.
My stock gtp went a tad slower than yours..can't be right man?
It is easy to get rid of knock when you lower the timing. Where in NJ are you? See...i knew that place sucked from the very first gp that was tuned there. The first guy said he did such a good job and I only have 2-3* of KR.....that to me is unacceptable if I am paying for a dyno tune. A tune consists of more than just strapping the car on the dyno and messing with the computer. Regap the plugs and you need a real tune
