I had the same issue replaced the sensor, still had the problem icm was the faulty part but it is a difficult call between the two. However icm is much easier to replace

i checked ICM last fall, My car did a wierd thing it made the shudder feeling and tach went to 0 and stalled and then started back up and ran ok does it sound like the crank shaft position sensor to you guys

I agree with fingures BUT I had my ICm go out after I replaced it in less than 6 months (so much for duralast)
Autozone/Advance Auto/non OEM ignition components (ex. Crank/cam sensors, icms). = I highly advise against. Just from past experience.. Not saying they are all bad but have a much higher failure rate/incorrect specifications. Just a heads up.

Yep I know but was in a hurry only reason I used duralast both times is second time It ws covered under warrenty it happens again I go with MSD
