i checked ICM last fall, My car did a wierd thing it made the shudder feeling and tach went to 0 and stalled and then started back up and ran ok does it sound like the crank shaft position sensor to you guys
???????
More often than not, the cause for the tach dropping to 0 and then stalling is the crank sensor.
I agree with fingures BUT I had my ICm go out after I replaced it in less than 6 months (so much for duralast)
Autozone/Advance Auto/non OEM ignition components (ex. Crank/cam sensors, icms). = I highly advise against. Just from past experience.. Not saying they are all bad but have a much higher failure rate/incorrect specifications. Just a heads up.
