oops i meant when you're turning that way. if you turn left and it goes away then it's the left bearing??? i may have that backwards, been a while since i've messed with bearings.Originally Posted by rolyat

That's correct. When you turn left up to speed it takes the weight of the left bearing so it stops grinding, and when you turn right the grinding will become a little louder indicating a bad left(driver side) wheel bearing.
