I love my SSAC's
SS Autochrome's are Knock Off SLP's. Best Buy for you money hands down, that is what i'm getting when I get some money saved back up.
What better company than SLP to knock off right? haha
SSAC's are def the way to go. just beware of the band clamp joints (prone to leak) and flexpipes. pacesetter headers are good IF the rear header has been welded to the crossover.
My pacerusters are awesome. Just get them welded.

Well mine where half the cost and do the same thing.
thats a yes
ZZP is WAY overpriced IMHO
So i realized the SSAC are like half the price, but if went with these, what has to be done to them to keep them lasting (modifications to problems with them). I'm really thinkin about these becuz of the price...
get real clamps (torca i think>????) instead of the chinsy clamps they have... i have heard of flexpipe probs but on what set of headers dont? lol
Alright sweet, all i need are some good clamps...and one more question, performance wise it would be the same hey??
yup. far as i know
Another +1 for the SSAC. I bought some band clamps at NAPA i cant remember the specific name but they were like a sheet of metal about 4 inches wide with two bolts, they stretch around the pipe and sealed right up, i did copper RTV the hell out of the slip joints and tightened the clamp bolts until i couldnt turn it anymore, but no leaks what so ever.
Only other thing that might give you trouble is the flex section, i think i may have a small tick coming from mine. Other than that they cant be beat for the money, the shiney stainless steel looks alot better than the rusty manifolds under the hood too.![]()
S&S headers are the best install. if youre not planning on a heads/cam/intercooler build then they will work just fine, even with the smaller primaries. hell, i would put them on an all out build too just because all the slip fit headers out there suck. anything three piece sucks. two piece with one donut gasket, S&S did something right.
well the headers are installed now and i have no leaking issues..seem sweet but i can't really test teh car out due to the snow...but now my sel came on...any ideas?
