you can clamp a cat in place too, how mine was before i welded it in. cat takes th eplace of the middle part of the sd down pipe.

you cant swap in any of your stock crap exhaust, its in the trash bin now.

the 3 inch clamps you need to buy already will clamp the cat in fine.

i used rtv to make sure they didnt leak.

you don't need a boost bypass valve solenoid. its job is to cut boost while you are in reverse and when the traction control activates. sometimes it causes issues with boost, and you don't have as much as you should, so a lot of people do the delete. ZZP has the gasket kit, but if you look on rock auto you can find the complete gasket kit cheaper. some gaskets can get reused, others absolutely can not, like head gaskets.

On that note, remember that head bolts and rocker bolts must also be brand new. They are one-time use items.

buy the magnum brand lim gaskets off rock auto, metal and they come with a lot of extra o rings and gaskets.

if your gonna re gasket the whole engine, buy a lower conversion gasket set, its 30 bucks. has front and back seals and cover gaskets and the pan gasket, water pump, oil filter housing gasket, and a few others.

then you need to get head gaskets and thats it for gaskets.

TTY head bolts are 16 bucks or so new. rocker bolts are cheap, reusable bolts are like 25 bucks.

sc gasket is called a upper plenum gasket, its 11 bucks. the tb is like 5.

vc can get up there like 50 and up. you'll want the new grommets with the set.
