See the square looking chuck of metal on the crank shaft? It lines up with a slot on the harmonic balancer so it doesn't spin

Is there scoring around the outside of the crank shaft and inside of the pulley? All I can think of is someone forgot the keyway and it spun inside of each other and shaved some of the metal to make it loose like that.

Does this have anything to do with a spun rod bearing cause that was what was wrong with the motor

ive not driven a na car yet. iirc some say the n/a tranny gears are better.
being im really a bottom swap, ive always had a HD tranny.
Can i ask why you did a l36 bottom swap instead of an l67?
