    I was thinking the same thing. my buddy had an 89 Camaro with the TPI 350 that made 240 hp, I would imagine the 88 vette had the same engine. I raced him in a stock gtp, and it was an even race.

    and probably weighed the same as a 97-03. the fwd grand prix has less drivetrain loss than a camaro or a corvette from that year.

    0 to 60 is 5.8 seconds iirc and 1/4 mile was 14. something

    Skip the few bolts on's if money isn't an issue. Do a cam and turbo with a trans. You want to spank him horribily.. do that.
