bandook I got a million of em but they are dusty tales and all probably just true lies. Nobody wants to play with grandpa's bone stock no tint GTP because lame and old, but also nobody wants to play with the loud one because unjustified intimidation I guess. Some ricers were revving at each other all around me at a light other day so I dropped it in neutral and snorted the M90... all heads turned in the exact direction of my slotted lame airbox lol. Big grin back at them all. I don't get out much, stakes are awful high now but I used to run like a pup if somebody threw a stick, y'know? I have no clue whats "fast" anymore but I can always craft a story from any so-called "stoplight grand prix".
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Got a frantic call from the girl I'd sold the Regal to.... She told me the low oil light was on, she added oil, the light didn't go off, so she kept adding oil. The car ran like dog **** after that... she babied it home about a mile from the gas station.

So I get there, pop the drain plug, and out comes 11 quarts.

    Miraculously, the engine isn't blown.

hoping i fixed this damn leak. still got some drips from the frame oil must be inside it big time. cant see any drips from the balancer its self any more tho.

pic of the repair sleeve i put on the other day.

pic of old seal. has few chips around the outer edge. pos! new one is a real treat to re install. i was able to tap it in so far, then when given a good shot it would pop out, so i used 2 hammers, hammered the wood shaft of one on the seal. got the job done with being able to swing the hammer freely in the wheel well.

    ^ lol

I picked up a new radiator, scored it for 26 bucks shipped on eBay. Its the 04+ 1" gtp rad. My car has been running warm since I back flushed the dex out.

Anyways, anyone installed the thicker radiator on a non sc car? Dimensions look close, its just a little shorter on height. And I've never replaced a rad before. Think this will fit? Can these just be shimmed or something?

it should fit fine. i should have the sc rad, but got a n/a one, temps are the same too. no difference.

if yours is clogged you'll see a difference tho.

i think the axle seal is easier to hit in, more clear space. i just beat that seal in like a red headed step child. lol

Thanks. I'm thinking its clogged. It idles at 205ish, drives around 210-215 and gets over 220 when I get on it a few times. I have 180° stat and lowered fan on times.

Made a chicken finger plate run in the loud one just now. Been raining lots but that window reg I fixed a couple weeks ago held glass firm against seal and suprise- no water on floor that side. That made me happy. Then the drive-thru chick was good lookin and waited until I was driving off to say "Beautiful car!". I can't hide idling six feet from the kitchen, the exhaust vibrations inside the building must attract attention because sometimes cooks will come to the window and peek at it. On the down side, I think my kickdown switch is getting a little sticky and my add-on under dash wiring is in need of repair. Need new head unit also. Anyway, musta done something right because the ol girl gave me a second gear scratch on the way home. Churp.

Started a new job today as a salesman at a honduh dealership. The parking situation there is ridiculous as some people had to park in front of inventory cars. I just ended up parking my rwd Ford Honda Accord amongst the other accords.....maybe no one will notice? lol
