Well that makes me feel better that they work haha
it dont matter, grease them up and jam them in there......may want to clean out the slider pin hole on the caliper too. brake cleaner works nice.
then re lube the piss out of the them holes.
Fixed my right rear window motor by cleaning the brushes and commutator. Also put grease at the bottom of the door skin as rust proofing. I'm going to spend the rest of the day rustproofing stuff.
BTW this is grease I put on a rust spot on my rockers. See what I mean when I say grease starts looking like rubberized undercoating after a while?

Went over to my buddys house today and installed a zzp stage 2 Tb on my gen 3 and tuned the maf's and fuel to get it sorta right. Drove around after that for 2 hours and had to go get more e85 even though i filled up last night!!! Oh and i broke another engine mount. I guess i need to get a bonneville one because they are metal and not cast iron right? This is the driver one. Broke two now.
Finally got the last piece for my trans rebuild...will be putting it in the shop this week....(300m goodies)....while trying to find a descent priced set of gxp brakes.
Realized I couldn't rust proof the quarter panels because the inner panel in the wheel well is not the same piece of metal. That sucks. Rust proofed both rear wheel wells today though, and cleaned up the rear brakes. Also rust proofed the gas filler tube from where I left off last time, removing the wheel well gained access to the rest of it, so I did it all the way to the cap. I removed the neck from the quarter and put grease in between the two so it wouldn't rust. Was a bit stunned at the rust at the rear of the wheel well on the passenger side. Oh well you can't see it anyway, it's under the bumper cover. But man some spots make me think I should start saving for a new car.
I was going to remove the side skirts and try to to slow down the rocker rust, but couldn't figure out how to get them off lol.

Slide straight out? I did some pulling but only heard crackling of rust.
Thanks for the pic, couldn't find one anywhere. So yeah straight out it looks like. I guess it's a good thing it's holding on so well.
That stud/nut to the left of the pic is exactly what I found laying on the ground when I was cleaning up my tools, although I never removed it. Must have rusted and fallen off.
Washed it with a 2 bucket and blew dry with leaf blower.
It was windy and before I could use the D156 and waffle weave to finish, it was covered in green pollen.......bad
I said ****it and now I have a streaky water spot smeared green dust black car.
Finally after many a setback, 4x4 status lmao, i still need to pickup some trans fluid and break in the brakes. Thanj god think junk is done.
