Most of my all-drum miles were probably with power assist but yeah not by much. Manual brakes and steering, I would think, ought to be something new car makers embrace rather than move away from. It was never that hard to drive without assist for those things. :th_oldtimer:
ive driven more manual steering/brakes cars then id like to admit really. and manual shifting too. first two cars were stick.
Washed and waxed the GP... mixed feelings over whether I really want to sell it. lol
Tinted the front windows successfully, 35%. Just need to do the rear windshield. Was supposed to do that today but the eBay seller got me the wrong shade. But it was right for the font so I used it on that lol.

Tint looks good. 35% looks light next to 10% now. Vs 35/20 on my 02. I'm happy with it though, one more to go, when I get the correct shade.
Also going to change all of the speakers, I'll probably have to mod the rears since monsoon got goofy with how they're set up.
Also I'm going to por-15 the insides of the door skins.

Needs to be washed n waxed this week. So much rain and hours at work its hard to find that time.
I would take today to do it, if it's not raining on you right now. Even in AK it's glorious outside. lol
EDIT: and Memorial day is to remember and honor the fallen. Alot of my buddies were car guys. Make it shine.
i fixed a soft to spongy crappy feeling for the last 2 years easy brake pedal in my friends 05 3500 dump truck. im driving it way to much to not care any more lol
so i googled it and dont ya know i found a hydro booster bleed procedure.
engine running pump the brake pedal firmly 15 times. then with the front wheels off the ground engine off key to run, turn the wheel lock to lock 15 to 20 times, and dont ya know, its got a brake pedal again.
only bad part is it blew p/s fluid all over the driveway i had the cap on too and still blew out and leaked all over the damn place. clearly had a air bubble in it from way back when the p/s hose was leaking.
I'm messing with making a less breakable spare tire cover because I put toolboxes back there.
Wire tuck. Because why not? lol
They are original. Last week I bought an 01 special edition for the princely sum of $1,000. Once I realized it had a chunked piston, I pulled a bunch of parts off and sold it as a clean roller for $700. It included these rockers, L76 springs on the heads, prj fuel rail, intercooler, etc. I sent the rockers out today to Harland Sharp to get them fixed. They'll go on my next build along with the 3.2 pulley blower :th_winking:
Drove it like crazy today for the fun of it. She handles much better now with all the suspension work done
Drove it for a bit, got her nice and hot... No burning or melting, so the tuck is just fine so far.
About to rotate tires... Any tips?
Is that a serious question?
Use a jack stand so you don't screw yourself is my only advise.
