Excuse my potato phone lol Its all I have until I feel like buying another phone, 07 w/ 30k, great condition, spoiler is sunfaded and needs to be repainted (go figure matte black w/ no clear in the Florida sun will do that), also needs some paint on the rear bumper, no biggie I'll get that fixed in the future
Never take off an interior panel along the floor, it won't go back on right, or will break along the way, 90% of the time. I've ripped the interiors out of a dozen or so of these, half of them had self-tapping screws holding the panels down, lol.
'Grats though, color looks nice! Any mods planned?

I can't stand the god awful cheapness and ugly interior on those early chargers.
I think those have the good transmission, can't remember if they are made by ZF or not.
And guess what you get to at 30k miles, change all 16 spark plugs lol. I think dodge had those hemi's on 30k plug changes because they run copper cores.
Short list on what I'll probably do this year...
Retro headlights/fogs, led tails (not some gaudy ones), stock speakers are pretty decent but I'll be swapping in the PIONEER Next HU from the GP into it and see how the speakers sound then, misc interior upgrades, remote start, 15% tint, color match the spoiler instead of the matte finish, tstat/catch can/Diablo tuner, debadge and rebadge some of it, door removing those damn door moldings
Longer term list...
Lower it 1-2", probably some Viper replica wheels, exhaust (jba or some sort), midpipe and maybe shorty headers,
I won't be going overboard with this one like I did the GP, starting off with a good platform and just do little things here and there to make it my own without killing the DD factor
One of my old GF had a Avenger so I knew what to expect and of course I had interior pictures prior, I can deal with it and anything GM that's older then a few years also has the cheap looking interior not a big deal for me when it comes to a used older car
NAG1 Trans IIRC
Plugs were changed already prior to me purchasing it so I'm good for another 30k which would be a while lol I'll verify and check sometime soon
G8s were #1 on my list but I wasn't finding any within a reasonable distance that had less then 80k on them and asking prices were rarely below 25k if it was a GT, 2012'ish Gen Chargers were also looked at (way better interior) but for what I was comfortable paying it would of had to be a non RT or high miles and that would of defeated the purpose, newest Gen I would of been paying 10-15k more and just wasn't worth it to me for the new 8 speed Trans
I loved the 05s when they came out and loved the purple but all the ghetto superstars started buying them and immediately started hating them lol
Yeah it looks like it is a Mercedes 5 speed transmission in those year. I had just remember reading somewhere that had ZF mentioned and I guess saying that it's kind of a copy of the ZF.
And I forget who has tuners on here but if you own HP Tuners, they can tune most of these dodge cars now. No need to buy a diablo.
I wanted and kinda still want a 12+ Charger in black. I'd probably want the Hemi, but the 12+ V6 is 300+ hp. One thing that stopped me looking at them though is just the commonality. Everyone seems to have one. LOL
I don't own any kind of tuner yet and haven't done much researching into what's available besides the Diablo, and I almost rather have a in car handheld tuner vs me buying HP tuner then having to buy credits then having to buy a laptop to use.

If you did opt for HP Tuners you get 8 credits when you buy it. So you get to tune 4 cars for free and anything past that would be $100 per car or 2 credits. I don't know enough about those cars or what HP Tuners has out for tune-ability goes but I know you can tune them. Would be something to read up on for sure to see how much support they do carry on them currently, I know they work on ford and dodge support way more now and add new parameters all the time for those vehicles.
Yeah ill defiantly check into that I'm in no rush to do any mods or tuning yet

Well it probably is an upgrade so cool score, Red. Dodge woot.
I had a Grand Three day. A/C juice for the GT, oil n filter and some checking stuff on the GTP, and just gas for Grape. Need to check my thread to see how long it took to put a thousand "miles" on it. Turned "19K" just now.
There's S/C's availiable for the 3.6 V6 chargers... I'm almost tempted to figure out how to slap one onto the Chrysler 200 in my driveway...It's got the same Pentastar V6 as the charger, but it's coupled to the ZF nine-speed trans that ffdp was probably thinking about... A Chrysler 200 that makes the same HP as a V6 Charger, but with AWD. The wife's car is looking better and better all the time. lol
The 9 speed fwd/awd transmission is totally different than the rwd one I was thinking about. Though the newest dodges run a 8 speed rwd ZF now.
Ah. I saw ZF and instantly forgot what was going on. lol
And still probably won't make the same power as let's say a stock r/t and I imagine your spending $5-6k on the SC setup too.. Not worth it. Those 200 aren't bad for what they are a buddy recently picked one up but ehh more then what I want to spend and just not my type of car.
the wife wanted it, so it's there for when she finishes college. It would be fun to spank one of those ricers with, lol... and it's useful when i can't drive the GP.
Played around with the grinder and the dremel... doing a hand port of a gen 3. Taking my time and doing it slow.
Put new pads and rotors on the front so I can get it inspected next week sometime.
