I agree with Kyle.. there's a billion W bodies in JY's. Just find one that isn't leaking currently. Don't change the seal.. and .. don't break the cover when you are putting it in.
Picked this stuff up last night. (Shift kit, lube tube retainer, 5 filters, side cover gasket, channel plate gaskets)

Nope..it's not for me. It'll make someone around here happy though.
Me.. I pressed start and drove. Ahhhhh
I can tell you are driving an Audi. The old Bill would have reused the side cover gasket, lol.
I told someone that since there would be two transmissions sitting there and they are reusable.. we'd reuse. Someone pushed me on the gasket and ...at $18 I said what the hell.
LOL. Thanks Bill. The wife should happy about this

It's a factory reusable gasket. GM says.. the right way is reuse.

Bronco, if you ever do catch a crash pull over and offer up the camera to cop to look at on-scene. Pleeease! You never know how important that might be and whoever you're late for should understand the delay.
Washed it for the first time in a month I think.
Pretty sure I heard the car sigh with relief. It was baaaaadddddd.
Now I see how badly it needs clay bar and polish. I just don't have the time.
DP installed finally and cleared the o2 codes. Crossings my fingers they stay gone.
got 1/2 the wide band and oil pressure gauges wired up. al th eout side to inside wires are ran, just need a pod and wire them on the inside.
got to damn hot out in the direct sun.
EDIT: if you follow the shiftier cable to the firewall, thats one great place to fish wires into the car. push them in the hole, after cutting the grommet to get your wires through, then feed them down in the hole. now from inside pull the carpet back on the pass side and to the left of the rubber block in the floor i put my hand up under the foam padding on the inside of the firewall and grabbed the wires and pulled them in.
Got my GT back, woohoo!
The time is finally here

New brakes all around, new rear proportioning valves, tire rotation
Looks great navy, i love mine.
Finally gonna have some descent brakes. You won't regret it.
I did some testing, my old brakes worked well enough in the city, but on the freeway I got a little scared at how poorly they stopped lol
Break these in as per instructions and they grab good. When I did mine i flushed the old fluid out and all the air it had before. I didn't know my pedal could feel that stiff lmao
