Will this procedure increase the life of whats left of your rockers?

Yeah, I'm trying to keep it from spreading to the top which can be seen when opening the doors (although it is partly there already) I use bearing grease and mix it with trans fluid until its a little loose, it soaks into rust pretty well and won't rust further until or if it comes off. I did this to my dad's rusty frame on his ram to make it last another year or two.

Neighbors burned the clear / glass on my 1969 GP's paint last night, and the GT as well. I am angry as can be but if I confront them its a fight for sure. Fvck sticks.
Uploaded my first video, ever. And its all for you folks :)
Help me identify the noise, winner gets another video of engine running with no noise, hopefully.

PS, Bill...I rarely listen to the radio. I like quiet meditative rides. :)
Exhaust leak or a bad pulley is my guess.
Took advantage of TRSs 4th sale (20% off).
XB55 ballasts, XB35 5500K bulbs, Denso style amp to D2S pigtails(because that clunky D2S igniter is too Fkn big for me) and a used XB55 ballast just in case.
Love my Densos but 35 watts never made my eyes smile
Montes A/C went out yesterday, this gon' be a wonderful car.
Takes away the easy fix. Which noise are we trying to diagnose? You either have a loud flex pipe or an exhaust leak. I was thinking you might have a couple plug wires crossed. But...not really sure which part of that we are listening for.
I polished and waxed both vehicles.. cleaned interiors.. basically all around name it.
I'm not sure which noise I'm trying to pinpoint lol. These Speed Daddy headers seem to leak more than Julian Assange, so that wouldn't surprise me. I've just decided I'm not gonna worry about it. You have to really bend your ear to hear it with the hood shut. One day I'll retorque the rockers, maybe when I get some 1.9's.
Haven't seen my car since Thursday morning.
I went out of town for a few days to Norwalk for the Summit Nationals and left the car at home. I got home at 10, but didn't even look in the direction of the car as I pulled my stuff out of my cousin's car.
Put my car back together without doing any rust prevention measures to the fender or rockers, had to mow the lawn at my uncle's place which burned up 3 hours. It's a 45 minute drive there. I'll try again next week. It's got to happen before next winter for sure. Took my car for a test drive afterwards with the new brakes, did some break in stuff, not exactly what they wanted but all I could do on a late night in the city. They feel better than what I had for sure, but my pedal didn't get any better after bleeding this time around. Oh well, I guess grand prix's don't have as good of a pedal feel as impalas. (same gen)
While I was leaving my uncle's, 3 teenagers go walking towards my uncles property in bathing suits and with inner tubes (his yard is easy access to the river that flows through his property) I always see people canoeing down the river while I'm there having a bonfire, working, or shooting bb guns lol. It is private property. But up there things are a little different I guess.
Used my California Duster to remove ashes from the car. The winds have pinned us under the smoke from the fires all across the province.....

Supposed to be like this until Thursday.
thats a ugly cloud, but a damn cool pic.
IIRC Impala's had a different pedal ratio. Some of the Regal/GP guys would swap over once doing F bodies to keep the feel.
Put on a 3" pulley today. Drove it for 5 minutes and immediately went home and stuck the 3.25 back on. Hey... I was curious OK? Sheesh.
