Is it a common issue when buying the catted down pipe to get a check engine light saying the cat isnt doing its job because its high flow?

yup i had it then i reset the code its fine now. i emailld zzp about it. they told me i needed to buy a canned pcm from them so it will turn off the code
When I bought mine ZZP offered a "built in" non fouler. My cat code has tripped twice since then. Its been over a year since I last reset it.
what year is is your car? the 01 dont like the o2 to be deleted.
you could find a local to tune it off if its not a 01. if its a 01 your want to try the flouler trick for sure.
It was one of the options when I got mine. It was a "No SES" option or something like that. Last time I looked I think they stopped offering it. Any non fouler available at a parts store will keep the cat code away.

This should give you an idea of what it is
my aeroforce resets the code
stock sizes work. and dont be suprised if you snap the bolt off in the cat back flange. I know i did and many others. I only had 35k miles on mine when i snapped it
so for the non fouler trick, it will work with a 01 pcm? mine has a canned tune from intense but i think my cat is going bad so was thinking straight pipe
