ehhhh you didn't even really do trans work. You did all the work to try and work on it in the car. That one clip and one electrical connector doesn't count as work. lol Glad you got it done.

    Me.. what did I do?

    Yeah it's caddy.

It was too short top to bottom bracket wise by around 2 inches, front to back it was totally different, and side to side. A bit of eyeing, welding, measuring and reworking. So far so good. Next up is getting the key lock and brake lock to work.

I don't use my windows much and rarely need to have them go all the way down, but it is annoying having to wait for an eternity for them to roll back up.
This last time we replaced them we did both regulators and motors.

I can try pulling door panels this weekend to see if I can find anything if I know what I'm looking for.
I have an '01 GT Sedan, and I can't let my drivers window go all the way down with the auto/express down thing on the switch. If I do, I have to wait like a minute or 2 before it will go back up. VERY weird. If I bring it down without pushing the switch down to the auto thing, it's fine...just hangs like that on the express down feature. Sounds like you have the same issue?

Your windows are binding. I'd pull the glass, remove the regulators and lube them up. Maybe replace the regulators.

I think mine is the switch. If I put the window all the way down without the express feature, it's not problem. It only sticks if I let the auto take it all the way down. If I stop it before it's all the way down, then put it the rest of the way down, no problems. I don't know. Doesn't really bother me, so I'm all right with it until something else breaks...lol

It's heating stuff up. that's why it binds.. resistance.

Eric..while someone hits the key.. smack it with a hammer. Your soleniod isn't kicking the starter forward

if your alone, beat it up some, then try to start it up, still works, just helps to have someone else smack it while the key is turned.

make sure you got all 3 grounds back on the tranny, and the started is wired right as well.

i had this happen before a while back memory isnt too good on it so i just wanted to make sure i was thinking right. and ty scotty tips and help is allways welcomed lol. Oh the car drank that battery dry so had to slap a charger on it to get the battery full again. I may change the battery for a smaller size one. All systems work except the mirrors.
