Yes pretty crappy finish for new pulley.

changed my ignition harness for no reason it seems. car still wont crank via the key. time to break out a test light and a friend to turn the key for me.
I washed mine real good and put it back in the garage
Scotty, is the PassKey acting up?
nope. so far everything seems to work did the relay swapping around, bat, grounds all good. only thing left to do is test the starter wire if its getting power when the key is turned. if its got power then its the starter solenoid more then likely.
its odd cause i can jump the starter, drive off, then park it and it will fire up with the key. ( or not 50/50 shot) then not fire up the next time i want to go out. or restart 5 times and not a 6 th. totally intermittent.
Ya, that's an interesting issue... An assistant and a test light are your tools if the trade now.
keep it simple they say
most starters ive jumped usually spark then crank over, this one seem to do a little sparking when first touched then dont crank, till i touch it like 2 or 3 times, then it cranks.
if i only had longer arms lol
That almost sounds like a weak ground.
I've always wished I was taller lol
Had it tuned. Pulled 12.9lbs of boost on a 3.4 genv. Fixed my key fob. Wired up the aeroforce. Sucessfull day.
Stared at the car. Called it a whore. Then went and tore this apart.
End goal was to replace two cracked manifolds. (Freeze water damage)
The exhaust system on boats are interesting. And weigh a ton. Even the exhaust manifolds.
Here's what was connected to the manifolds
All in all pretty happy with my work. Dealer said it would take 4 hours to remove old and 3 to install new. I removed the first manifold in 45 minutes. Second in less than 30.

those manifolds dont have little drains with plastic thumb screws to drain them for winter? my block had them too.
Yes it does. It's my moms boat. I came home for thanksgiving and noticed she never took it to get winterized. And we had already had tons of snow. Too late. Manifolds cracked. Luckily that was all the damage.

that blows.
i used to fill a trash can with water then dump antifreeze into the trash can, then i used a sub pump and the muffs to pump the water to the engine and then id just run the engine till green came out the back. i always pulled the plugs in the manifolds just to drain them.
Yea the shop we took it to do just that. Coolant. Which is what it has in it now. Next week when the parts come in I'm gonna start it with water. But immediately after gonna run coolant through it

the old remove the t stat and fill the block with antifreeze also works for boats.
That's true. The tstat on these looks weird as ****. It looks like two tstats. One running from each manifold. At a tpipe where the coolant lines meet

yeah, boat plumbing is odd for sure. pretty sure those are still one t stat, but just split off in a T.
