I love the simplicity of these old trucks. None of the power steering and power brakes stuff. Just you and the truck. Building them is half the fun though! Mines not perfect and needs a bit done to it but for what it is and what I paid for it you can't beat it. I love the old F-1's though, sounds like a nice and fun truck!
Drove the gas saver to KY and back. Hosed all the salt off both cars. Then drove the gas saver to Philly in the same day. Long freaking day, about 700 miles. Kind of wishing I had my GP for all the tunnels on the Turnpike, though.
Paid its 202 insurance bill today, my premium is like 360ish for 6 months with liability.

I pay about $445 every 6 months on the Grand Prix for full coverage with a $250 deductible.
If I had liability only It would probably be well under $300 for 6 months.
If I add full coverage its another 300 with a 250 deductible with statefarm

Yeah I got State Farm too.
I pay like 47 a month, full coverage lol. With an added $500,000 or $1,000,000 in bonus coverage for another 100 per year per car. We have 5 cars on the plan from AAA. It's legit untill I have to move out and get my own coverage haha.
FFDP why u moving out
We just changed the name on the plan to my name and it jumped up 15 a month

I started my car today. Its been 3 weeks since i drove it and I found a flat tire....
Replaced a burnt out bulb in my analog HVAC.
Replaced the leaking coolant elbows
Noticed that I have exaust leaking from somewhere around the manifold and headers. It's not bad but if I'm under the hood during a cold start I can smell it and hear it. For some odd reason it disappears when the car warms up.
Not sure if I should save up and do headers, down pipe etc. I do need a cat I'm pretty sure ( When I hit it, it rattles, this sound also disappears when warm ) plus I've been getting the Check Engine light from the 02 sensor or if I should just get gasket and cat and keep it moving ... Hmm

Headers!
Tuning e85 with bigger injectors at the same time is quickly turning into a headache
Found my exhaust leak. I guess reusing reused band clamps tend to make them leak. Fixed now hopefully. I'll find out in the morning.
