Thread: What did you do to your Car today?

Hey, look at that, it blinks.

The P0118 code (engine coolant temp sensor) went away of its own accord and the sensor decided to behave today.

Drove my Prius to the tune of some fifty miles today, because the parking permit for school is tied to that car.

In other news, new exhaust manifold to downpipe gasket is awaiting installation ever since I fubar'd the last one, giving me a small exhaust leak there. Probably the source of my 1.1* KR.

O I know. Been doing a ton of reading and video watching. Just gonna do it one step at a time

Installed that silly 4$ water deflector so my car stops thinking its a pool. The regular weatherstripping was just laying under the cowl Headlights and HID's on the way!

Pulled some coolant temp sensor wires out of a few junkyard GP's to see if they're the source of my temp gauge going dumb. Also pulled a rust-free driver's side brace off another GP, which will replace my rusty one once I spray some rustoleum on it.

Haven't posted here much lately.

I replaced 3 burned out lights on my radio faceplate. Display bulb, bub at very bottom left, and bulb at top right.



I also raked leaves one day and in grosse pointe, there you can rake them to the curb and they have a machine that sucks them up. I doubt any passengers were getting in there.



Washed my car today, it was dirty already but I drove through 1 puddle that stretched across the entire street very slowly, but still managed to get mud all over it. I'm not going that way anymore, I think someone was emptying a pool or something.



All clean now though. Not so fun washing it in the 40° weather, but there was lots of mud to wipe out of the wheel wells.

its still in the 70's here i think im going to drive tonight with my ac on just cuz I can hahaha

It's going to be 80 this weekend, going to fire up the grill before the Longhorn/OSU game. Yum Yum for the Tum Tum.

so you going to have steak and other meat on your grill?

So lucky it was 17 the other night

it was below 32 deg's here yesterday morning, ice all over.

Oh yeah, I spent like 5 minutes scraping solid ice from all the windows
